June,2006. It was the blessed year for Uganda ultimate fraternity when a great couple of great players in the world Phil Bowen and his wife Paige Bowen Anderson from Minesota, USA jetted in Kampala. Not long after few weeks joining us for our usual Sunday after noon pickup game which usually was organised by Jojo and Charlie Chandia ,come rain or shine in Kampala since 1999.

Team Uganda affirmed its dominance in Beach Ultimate in the region with a sweltering win over teams from Juba (Sudan), Ethiopia, Rwanda, Nairobi (KE), Mwanza (TZ), Kisumu (KE), and Arusha (TZ). The two day tournament took place over the Easter Weekend on the white powder sands of Kenya's south coast. Congratulations also to Rwanda for participating for the first time.

In February, Uganda won 1st and 2nd positions in the FEAST 2011 (Frisbee East Africa Sand Tournament) held at Tiwi Beach Mombasa. Uganda sent two teams this year which prevailed over teams from Nairobi (two teams), Tanzania (Mwanza) and Sudan.

The 2010 7HUC was great sucess with the Dragons going neck to neck and finally beating a bold Makindye team in the final. The International School of Uganda field's, high on the hills of Lubowa, served as a great setting for the two day event. After one and a half days of sunny games, during the final, the skys opened up with rain, hail, thunder and lightening... but the game went on and luckily no one was struck.
